The non-caustic, solvent free, and biodegradable formula is gentle on the skin, but once the drivetrain parts are dropped into the tank this cleaner goes to work to break down grease, oils, and grime that has accumulated over time. And when it is time to pull the drivetrain gear out to prep it for applying new lubricant, the Muc-Off Ultra Sonic Tank Chain Cleaner easily washes off along with any leftover residue by simply rinsing everything with water.
