The S&M Race XLT Stem is made in the USA from 6061 aluminum. Strength isn’t an issue meaning that this stem isn’t just for racers, but can be used by anyone preferring a topload stem. Strength can mean extra weight in a lot of cases, but a ton of machining and 2-piece bar clamp keep the weight low without compromising durability. (1-1/8″ steerer clamp)
